About Us:
Kinetron BV, an ASSA ABLOY company, is an international high-tech innovative organization located in Tilburg. We specialize in researching, developing, manufacturing, and assembling customer-specific energy harvesting modules and products. Our expertise includes energy harvesting technologies such as induction, solar, NFC, ambient, low-power (IoT) electronics, micro mechanisms, motors, and actuators. We maintain a professional approach while fostering a family-like atmosphere. Our organization values short lines of communication, transparency, and empowerment.
At Kinetron BV, we have long-term worldwide partnerships with market leaders in various segments including opening solutions, digital locks, access control, smart buildings, watches, wearables, sanitary products, irrigation, and gas water heaters.
Due to the expansion of our R&D department, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Technical Lead to join our team for 32-38 hours per week.
As our Senior Mechanical Engineer/Technical Lead you will collaborate both independently and within teams on one or multiple projects. Your responsibilities include mechanical (conceptual) design and project management tasks. You will act as a technical lead for a small team of mechanical engineers, ensuring alignment, technical quality and effective collaboration within the team. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.
Responsibilities:
You are a talented individual with an analytical and conceptual mindset. We’re looking for evidence that you are a result-oriented, problem solver by heart that sees solutions instead of problems, whilst a clear customer focus is essential in order to succeed.
You are comfortable taking ownership, providing direction and serving as a trusted technical sparring partner for both engineers and management.
Excellent team working skills are vital and you should enjoy collaborating with others - being prepared to both help and ask for help when needed.
We review applications regularly, so don’t wait.
We are building diverse, inclusive teams, and encourage applications from everyone who can see themselves working with us. Just set up your profile and apply here.
To make sure your personal data is safe, we don’t look at any applications sent by email or post. If you have any questions about the role or the process, email Jamal Klasen, Talent Acquisition Business Partner, at jamal.klasen@assaabloy.com.
