Azure Integration Developer - Healthcare

Position Description:

CGI is seeking an experienced Azure Integration Developer to join our team and support the delivery of enterprise integration solutions for a major public sector digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and support scalable integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services, connecting enterprise applications and clinical information systems across a modern cloud environment.
Working closely with solution architects, business analysts, technical teams, and client stakeholders, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization of secure, reliable, and high-performing integration solutions.
This is a full-time contract opportunity for an initial six-month term, with the possibility of extension. Preference will be given to candidates based in New Brunswick; however, remote candidates across Canada will also be considered.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Develop integrations using Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, App Services, Containers, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and On-premises Data Gateway.
• Design and develop scalable integration services using C# and .NET.
• Build secure, fault-tolerant integration solutions using request/response, publish/subscribe, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions across development, test, and production environments.
• Develop data validation and transformation solutions using XSLT, Logic Apps Data Mapper, Liquid templates, or custom code.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define technical integration strategies and deliver project milestones.
• Develop technical design documentation, integration specifications, and operational support documentation.
• Participate in production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional IM/IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Containers, and On-premises Data Gateway.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant integration architectures.
• Experience developing enterprise integration solutions and APIs using modern integration patterns.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Assets
The following qualifications would be considered assets:
• Experience with healthcare integration standards, including HL7 v2.x and/or FHIR.
• Experience with Event Grid and hybrid integration architectures.
• Experience integrating on-premises databases, network shares, ExpressRoute, or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience implementing secure Azure communications, secrets management, and identity management.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, diagnostics, logging, and application monitoring frameworks.
• Experience processing EDI or other high-volume integration workloads.
• Experience working within healthcare, public sector, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience producing Azure solution architecture and technical design documentation.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $30/HR - $58/HR CAD. This role is a future contract opportunity.
