Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Public Affairs and Philanthropy, the Coordinator at Assomption Life Foundation plays a central role in the day-to-day operational management of the Foundation and in its outreach to communities. The incumbent coordinates donations and grants, supports philanthropic activities, prepares governance documents, produces follow-ups and reports, and supports communication, recognition, and event initiatives. Through their attention to detail, versatility, and organizational skills, they contribute directly to the fulfillment of the Foundation's mission.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of scholarships and grants, including administrative processing, follow-up, record-keeping, and coordination with educational institutions.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of partnership and fundraising initiatives, including through research, documentation, logistical coordination, and tracking of commitments.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on the Foundation's activities, including contacts, interactions, opportunities, indicators, and dashboards.
  • Prepare files for the Foundation's Board of Directors and contribute to the quality of governance documents, reports, and accountability tools.
  • Help produce impact reports highlighting the grants awarded, the Foundation's impact, and the results achieved.
  • Participate in budget monitoring and the compilation of key performance indicators.
  • Work with relevant teams to contribute to the Foundation's communications, visibility campaigns, and outreach initiatives.
  • Draft or coordinate various content, such as profiles of grant recipients, letters, agreements, presentations, and other communication tools.
  • Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and recognition activities.
  • Provide attentive and professional service to partners, donors, educational institutions, and scholarship applicants.
  • Monitor best practices and propose continuous improvements to the Foundation's processes and tools

What you'll need

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who wants to put their skills to work for a mission with a significant human and community impact. The ideal candidate stands out for their independence, attention to detail, sense of initiative, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as philanthropy, administration, communications, public relations, marketing, or any other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a role related to philanthropy, administration, communications, project coordination, or a related field.
