We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fredericton for the upcoming season. If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced team environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is a full-time seasonal role running approximately March through November, in a busy and positive workplace where teamwork and great customer service are valued.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will help ensure every customer has a great experience by:
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by creating sales orders, preparing quotes, and answering questions
- Helping customers identify their needs and recommending the right products and solutions
- Supporting daily operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, and scheduling when needed
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure customers are served efficiently and professionally
- Performing other duties that support the success of the branch
What you'll need
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is friendly, motivated, and enjoys working with both customers and team members.
We would love to see someone who:
- Has strong communication skills in person and on the phone
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with numbers
- Demonstrates initiative, drive, and a positive attitude
- Is willing to support teammates in the warehouse or other Shaw Brick locations when needed
- Has experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Has previous experience in retail, customer service, or warehouse customer service
- Is able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
