Description

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Tradesperson, you will perform all aspects of electrical and instrumentation maintenance and repairs at the mill. 



Responsibilities

You will perform the required troubleshooting, programming and research to maintain and improve existing distributed controls, programmable controls, mill process controls and electrical distribution systems. You will assist in continuous improvement through instrument tuning and system program changes. 



Qualifications
  • Instrumentation Journeyman License, Industrial Electrical Journeyman License, or an Industrial Controls Technology Diploma
  • Industrial experience in a similar industry is considered an asset
  • Possess knowledge of Plant Instrumentation and Electrical systems, Honeywell Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controls, Variable Speed Drives
  • Possess working knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers, and system protection as well as computer experience
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Self-motivated
  • Electrical aptitude
