Service New Brunswick is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join Property Assessment Services as a Field Card Scanner. This role supports the CRAVES digital transformation initiative by converting physical property assessment records into secure, searchable digital files. The successful candidate will work on-site in the Edmundston office and will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, record integrity, and efficient information management. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and organizing physical files for scanning, ensuring all documents are handled with care.
  • Operating scanning equipment to convert physical documents into clear, legible digital files while verifying image quality and completeness.
  • Ensuring all scanned files are accurately named and stored within the designated electronic filing system to maintain accuracy and traceability.
  • Adhering to established procedures, confidentiality guidelines, and data security standards to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with the project lead, team members, and support staff to resolve issues, clarify instructions, and meet project milestones.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from High School supplemented by a minimum of 1-year related work experience.

Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.

  • Ability to use Office Technology, Software and Applications including Microsoft Office 365
