Salary Range
•    $23.92 to $26.12 per hour

Employment Period
•    May to August 2027
•    Flexible dates based on the academic calendar
•    Various locations throughout Northern New Brunswick
 

You will work closely with our operational teams and contractors to support our safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
Key Responsibilities
•    Collaborate with contractors and operations teams to support production goals
•    Conduct observations and follow-ups to monitor productivity and operational quality
•    Monitor daily harvesting, transportation, road construction, and road maintenance activities
•    Participate in forestry quality assessments
•    Assist with the collection and analysis of operational data
•    Complete various administrative and operational follow-up activities
•    Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
 

You are currently enrolled in a college or university program in:
•    Forestry
•    Forest Engineering
•    Forestry Technology
•    Forestry Technician Program

Skills and Qualifications
•    Experience in the forestry industry is considered an asset
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
•    Strong organizational and prioritization skills
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship
•    Valid driver's license
•    Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
•    Must meet J.D. Irving, Limited selection criteria
