Description

Midland Transport is currently seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Freight Handler to join our Moncton Terminal team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in a fast‑paced environment. You will ensure shipments move efficiently through our terminal while maintaining accuracy, safety, and high service standards.

Shifts available: 
•    Monday to Friday (4pm-12am)
•    Sunday to Thursday (12am – 8 am)
*Shifts listed above are subject to change and may be adjusted according to operational needs

Responsibilities

•    Setting up the dock for efficient operations
•    Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight, both manually and using equipment
•    Communicating with other Dock Workers to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading
•    Maintaining a clean, functional dock and work area
•    Flexible to assist in other areas if required
 



Qualifications

•    Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma
•    A minimum of 2 years of relevant dock/warehouse experience 
•    Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
•    Strong commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals
•    Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately
•    Efficient, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high productivity
•    Basic math and organizational skills are required
