The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us – As a Geomatics Summer Student in our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) team in Moncton, you’ll support the delivery of precise field data essential to engineering design and legal boundary solutions. You’ll contribute to impactful work shaping subdivisions, SRPRs, topographic surveys, construction layout, municipal infrastructure, and residential/commercial developments.

Your Impact

• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
• Prepare clean and detailed survey field notes for collected data and layout.
• Apply proper survey methodology and techniques under the guidance of senior field technicians.
• Work hands‑on with Trimble survey equipment, survey software, and Leica scanning tools.
• Travel and work on projects across the Maritime provinces.
• Support field activities for engineering design and legal survey solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned while gaining valuable on‑site experience.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Completion or ongoing enrollment in a Geomatics Engineering Technician / Technologist program at an accredited college (or equivalent).
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Valid New Brunswick driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
• Interest in field work, data collection, and geomatics technology.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $22.00 – $25.50/hour

MB & ON: $20.50 – $24.00/hour

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $19.50 – $23.00/hour
