Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a talented individual to join the Enterprise Solution Services Branch as an Integration Strategist for Health Care. Technology is at the heart of government services delivered to the citizens of New Brunswick. Our team implements and supports the interoperability technologies that power Health Care. Our work underpins key healthcare initiatives and enterprise health integrations that support care delivery, information sharing, and digital transformation across the Departments. Integration strategy plays a critical role in ensuring these solutions are interoperable, secure, standards-based, and aligned with provincial digital health objectives.
You are a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of health-care integration, interoperability, and enterprise architecture. You understand how complex health systems, platforms, and stakeholders operate and can translate business, clinical, and policy needs into coherent integration strategies and standards.
You are comfortable working on and guiding initiatives through governance and stage‑gate processes. You collaborate effectively with enterprise architects, solution teams, vendors, and operational partners, ensuring integration decisions are aligned with long‑term digital health goals rather than short‑term project constraints.
As an Integration Strategist, you will provide strategic leadership and advisory support for integration across the Department of Health and Regional Health Authority initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the development and evolution of integration blueprints and frameworks supporting application requirements.
• Supporting eHealth projects and operational teams by providing integration strategy and high-level design guidance aligned with integration goals, principles, standards, and enterprise architecture direction.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of integration requirements, standards, guiding principles, and patterns.
• Reviewing and providing input on integration deliverables including messaging specifications, integration testing strategies and plans, conformance plans, and implementation guides.
• Participating in stage-gate and governance reviews to assess initiative readiness.
• Engaging regularly with Enterprise Architecture representatives to ensure solution alignment.
• Ensuring solutions comply with Department of Health standards.
• Supporting planning and implementation of solutions aligned with digital transformation strategies.
• Collaborating with the SNB Integration Team for alignment and shared integration practices.
