We are searching for temporary part-time Licensed Practical Nursing & Registered Nursing students (working as a PSW) to join our Neill Hall team based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

This role is ideal for nursing students looking to build confidence, clinical skills, and meaningful experience in a supportive long-term care environment.

Flexible employment options, with opportunities for summer-only positions or permanent casual roles based on your availability.

The position will average 22.5 hours per week from June until the end of August 2026.

About the Opportunity

• Assists residents with hygiene and daily living activities, such as: bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobilizing according to the work assignment;
• Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plan;
• Assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis;
• Assists with light housekeeping duties;
• Performs delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice;
• Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
• Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire;
• Valid CPR & First Aid Certification or BLS (required);
• Advanced proficiency in the English language is required;
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care course considered an asset;
• Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset;
• A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
