Operations Manager

Industrial Security is currently seeking an Operations Manager 

• Directing the activities of the Security Team to ensure protection of the various internal Company’s physical assets, properties, and resources in NB, NS, Ontario, PE and New York
• Assigning officer duties to security team to ensure effective distribution of workload 
• Preparing and controlling the budget for security operations 
• Providing leadership and direction to management team 
• Working closely with the Corporate Security team of Investigators to help with internal investigations involving theft, fraud, threats, trespassing and harassment
• Working closely with the Manager and the Security Operations Centre team (24x7 environment of alarm monitoring, video monitoring, telephone answering service
• Building and maintaining a network of information to proactively reduce risk to customer operations and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and private sector counterparts to protect employees and assets
• Internal incident management and reporting 
• Facilitating regular meetings with the Operations Managers of the various businesses to update on possible risks and determine corrective action to build and maintain positive working relationships

• 10 to 15 years experience as a security manager or in a similar field (Security Management, Risk Management, Law enforcement)
• Ability to support and motivate a 24/7/365 operations
• Strong leadership skills and proven success 
• Must have a clean driving record and valid Driver’s License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to the highest level of the organization and groups across/outside the organization
