Steele Ford Lincoln is looking for an Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team.

This isn't your typical Parts Advisor role. Think of it as a Parts Advisor Plus position.

You’ll work across the Parts Department, supporting both the front and back counters while also getting hands-on experience with inventory, shipping and receiving, warranty, returns, special orders, administration, and the day-to-day operation of a busy dealership.

Whether you have dealership experience, automotive training, or simply a strong interest in cars and a willingness to learn, this could be your opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow with Steele Ford Lincoln.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the front and back Parts Counters, assisting retail customers, technicians, and internal dealership departments.
• Receive incoming parts, verify shipments, bills of lading, and invoices, and prepare outgoing orders.
• Stock, locate, and organize parts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Complete bin counts and inventory checks to help keep parts availability accurate.
• Process manufacturer and supplier returns, warranty parts, and related documentation.
• Manage special orders, comebacks, and parts follow-up to keep repairs moving.
• Assist with parts-related administrative and computer system tasks.
• Help coordinate the movement of parts between Parts, Service, Body Shop, and customers.
• Keep the Parts Department organized, clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Support the team wherever needed to keep the dealership moving.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of Parts experience. We're looking for the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

This could be a great fit if you are:

• An automotive enthusiast who enjoys learning how vehicles work.
• Someone with previous dealership, automotive, Parts, Service Advisor, or technician experience.
• A graduate of an automotive program who wants to explore a career outside the shop.
• Organized and detail-oriented with an interest in inventory and logistics.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• A problem solver who enjoys figuring out where things belong and getting the right part to the right person.
• Reliable, energetic, and willing to jump in wherever the team needs support.
• Comfortable lifting and moving 50 to 80 lbs.
