DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Parts Technician to join the team at our state-of-the-art Speed Bay, set to open in April, 2026. As a Parts Technician, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing parts inventory, supporting our maintenance teams; and ultimately, keeping our trucks on the road. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of parts and supplies to support fleet maintenance
- Receive, store, and organize parts in accordance with 5S standards, ensuring the parts area remains clean, safe, and well-organized
- Source and distribute parts to technicians in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor stock levels and work with vendors to ensure timely replenishment
- Accurately track parts usage, inventory movements, and related documentation
- Manage warranty parts processing and claims
- Oversee core management, including tracking and returns
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the maintenance team as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or a similar role
- Previous experience in a fleet shop or dealership environment is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of truck and trailer parts
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with MS Office and maintenance management systems
- Experience with warranty processes and core management is considered an asset
