We are currently recruiting for a Quality Summer Student for 2024 summer employment opportunity atPrepared Foods in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for following all safety requirements.
• Quality checks of finished product must be monitored to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for identification and reporting of product quality issues.
• Filling out paperwork and entering data on computer accurately and efficiently.
• Cleaning / housekeeping of lab area.
• Trouble shoot, adjust and maintain equipment as required.
• Must follow “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s) and Critical Control Points (CCP’s).
• Follow JHA’s and work safely. Participate in STEP program (Behavioral safety observations)
• Participate in Team meetings, as required.
• Complete core curriculum E-learning courses
• All additional duties as they become assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School, Community College or University Student
• Basic computer skills an asset
• Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees
• Team player with excellent attendance
• Must have good mathematical skills and complete production forms accurately and neatly
• Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
• Willing to work shift work; nights and weekends.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first’’ on a continual basis.

Compensation Package: $ - $ Starting at 19.16 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
