The New Brunswick Community College Student Union (NBCCSU) is seeking a Student Life Assistant for the Moncton and Saint John campuses.
Employment Type: Part-time to May 2027 (20 hours per week)
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Location: Saint John
The Student Life Assistant plays an important role in fostering student engagement, connection, and well-being within the NBCC community. Working under the direction of the Campus Student Life Officer (SLO) and the NBCC Student Union General Manager, the Student Life Assistant supports student initiatives, campus events, advocacy efforts, and student services that contribute to a positive and inclusive student experience.
In this role, you will:
• Support the planning, promotion, and delivery of student activities and events.
• Assist with NBCC Student Union election processes.
• Provide guidance and support to Student Union executives and class representatives.
• Collaborate with the Student Life Officer on student engagement initiatives.
• Assist with coordination of the Student Emergency Food Cupboard.
• Maintain regular office hours and frontline student support.
• Assist with social media, communications, and administrative functions.
• Collaborate with Student Life Officer and General Manager on any other required tasks
