Midland Transport is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be based out of our Head office location in Dieppe, NB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and attracting top talent for positions across all levels of the organization. The selected candidate is reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

• Manage the hiring process from creating a job posting, maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates for key roles and developing external/internal strategic relationships
• Source, screen, test and facilitate interviews for selected candidates
• Work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to fill vacancies and support succession planning
• Leverage job posting sites, tools and employment agencies to source quality candidates
• Promote the organization’s employer brand to enhance visibility and attract top talent
• Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve recruitment process and strategy
• Follow corporate HR recruitment procedures and policies
• Education Required: Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or other related disciplines
• Years of Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR related field
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience with Taleo, Oracle or other ATS is required
• Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Outlook etc.)
• Proactive and able to assimilate new information quickly
• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written) will be considered an asset
