Description

We’re seeking a Technical Project Lead to join our dynamic Facilities delivery team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of operations, leading customer-facing requirements sessions, overseeing facilities process networks, and supporting executive conference room setups. You’ll build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and most importantly, the business units you serve. 

As part of a shared service supporting a diverse group of companies, adaptability is key. You’ll need to respond quickly to shifting priorities and bring a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset. Acting as a critical link between our customers and JDI IT, you’ll leverage internal resources and external partners to deliver high-quality results on time and with impact. 

This position requires full-time on-site presence.

 



Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end technical coordination and support to the delivery of infrastructure initiatives   
  • Work with customer representative, internal and external technical resources to gather requirements  
  • Work with technical teams to develop and validate technical design meets customer specifications and align with IT standards  
  • Work with technical teams to identify equipment’s and service requirements  
  • Validate budget and collect cost estimates for equipment and services to complete delivery  
  • Coordinate any site requirements such as facility access, cabling and power  
  • Coordinate customer communicating and day of deployment activities  
  • Manage warranty period and structured transition to steady state operations  
  • Provide coaching and mentoring, and share technical knowledge, skills, and expertise in an efficient and supportive manner  


Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-8+ Years of Experience   
  • Background in Infrastructure Operations and Project Management and/or Business Analysis   
  • University Degree, College Diploma or Relevant Experience  
  • A working knowledge of a broad set of technologies including network, server, end user devices  
  • A working knowledge of facilities requirements such as cabling, power, racking and cooling   
  • A working knowledge of end user computing devices such desktop, laptops, handhelds, printing, meeting rooms, telephony  
  • A working understanding of technical support processes such as ITSM and ITIL  
  • A working knowledge of supply chain management and logistics   

Bonus:  

  • ITIL Foundations Certification considered an asset
