DescriptionThe PRO Appliance Sales Representative is responsible for growing appliance sales by supporting and developing relationships with professional customers, including contractors, builders, and renovators. This role focuses on understanding project-based‑ needs and delivering appliance solutions that support customer success from estimation through delivery.
The PRO Appliance Sales Representative combines outside sales activity with in‑store collaboration, acting as a trusted advisor to PRO customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales and service experience.
For this position, you will receive a base salary plus commission following a probationary period, along with a company provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with PRO customers such as contractors, builders, renovators, and property managers
- Conduct regular outside sales calls, jobsite visits, and proactive account ‑follow-ups‑
- Drive appliance sales through consultative selling, project planning support, and expert product knowledge
- Provide face-to-face‑ and onsite assistance with appliance selection‑, warranty options, delivery and installation coordination, and financing solutions
- Prepare quotes and estimates, close sales, and track orders to ensure timelines and customer expectations are met
- Partner with store teams, kitchen designers, and operations to ensure smooth execution of PRO projects
- Address and resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain showroom standards, stock condition, and a clean and safe work environment when working in‑store
- Assist with merchandising and product setup as required
Qualifications
- Professional sales experience with a demonstrated ability to close sales
- Experience working with contractors or in a B2B / PRO sales environment is an asset
- Appliance, construction, or building materials sales experience is an asset
- Strong relationship building, communication, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and project timelines
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for sales calls
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as required
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
- Successful completion of a standard background check
