Description

The Fredericton Police Force (FPF) Sponsorship Program provides candidates with no prior police experience or training the opportunity to attend the Atlantic Police Academy Police Science Cadet program in Summerside, PEI. Candidates will be responsible for APA tuition fees, but zero percent financing is available, and upon successful completion of the Cadet program, candidates will be offered full-time, permanent constable positions with the FPF.

Why join the Fredericton Police Force?

As the second oldest municipal police force in the country, the Fredericton Police Force (FPF) prides itself in valuing tradition while embracing a progressive and supportive culture. The FPF is a modern, community-focused agency that values and respects its members.  Large enough to offer countless career opportunities in specialized sections and teams, but small enough that our members are never just regimental numbers.

The FPF has a trusted, respected relationship with the community it serves. Our officers do not just police our city, they form part of the fabric of our community.  Our organization is committed to reflecting the diverse communities we serve in the City of Fredericton. In this regard, the FPF is recruiting people who reflect and appreciate diversity in all its forms: race, age, ethnicity, beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, social class, experiences, etc.
