Position Summary:We are seeking a full-time merchandiser (Remote) to represent Organigram brands in retail cannabis locations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI through retail & consumer intercept (pop up) activations. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness and enhancing staff and consumer education through retail engagement, pop‑up activations, and event participation. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager – Atlantic, the Merchandiser will prioritize high‑traffic retail locations, support regional objectives, and provide meaningful feedback to the internal Organigram team. This position requires evening and weekend availability, with a regular work week of Tuesday to Saturday (subject to change based on events).
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and become a product expert on the Organigram portfolio of brands (through scheduled training sessions and ongoing learning)
Execute in store consumer intercepts (pop ups) at peak hours.
Deliver budtender education sessions based off provincial KPIs & regulations
Answer product related questions from budtenders and consumers
Engage with consumers at retail and submit feedback (Organigram brands and competitive LPs)
Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to organize provincially run events across the region
Build relationships & support business growth within private retail in New Brunswick.
Adhere to provincial guidelines while working with three distinct Crown Corporations
Utilize CRM software to keep accurate records for contact management & route planning
Work independently while covering large multi-province territory.
Skills & Qualifications:
Based in the Maritime region (preference of Moncton/Halifax Regional Municipality)
Bilingualism (English/French) at an intermediate level or higher is required.
Previous experience in customer service and/or as a brand ambassador (or similar role)
Knowledge of cannabis market and trends considered an asset as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Punctual and able to follow a route plan/store schedule
Flexible work hours with weekends/evenings required
Must be 19 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, and vehicle required (travel across Maritimes)
