The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of the Investments and Retirement team, this role coordinates requests from the sales force related to investment and retirement products and acts as the primary point of contact for complex inquiries. The role works closely with internal partners to ensure efficient request handling, deliver value‑added service to brokers, and support operational efficiency and client service quality.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the sales force (Regional VP, BDMs, and preferred brokers), responding to complex inquiries related to investment and retirement products.
  • Support the supervisor and Regional VP of Sales in managing business relationships with sales and marketing teams, working closely with marketing representatives; occasional travel may be required.
  • Serve as a key resource for Sales and Marketing and collaborate with the Compensation team on broker commission processing.
  • Ensure service standards are met by managing priorities and adjusting tasks to achieve operational objectives.
  • Process complex broker requests related to investment products (e.g., Segregated Funds, GICs, RRSPs, RRIFs, TFSAs, locked‑in accounts, pension plans), including financial and non‑financial transactions, some exceeding $1M.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English and French)
  • 5-10 years of experience in investments and/or customer service within the financial services sector
  • Postsecondary or university degree in Financial Services, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of investment and retirement products
  • Ability to analyze data and apply comparative and statistical analysis methods
  • Proficient with computer tools, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with investment administration systems (e.g., Compass)
  • Solid understanding of investment contracts and applicable regulatory requirements across provincial jurisdictions
