To support our on-going commitment to quality and value, we are looking for Construction Labourers to join our team. These are full-time, permanent positions at our manufacturing facility in Sussex, New Brunswick.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Job Duties
- Assist various tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers with building modular and mini homes.
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials and remove rubble, as required.
- Tend or feed machines and eqipment used in construction.
- Use power tools and machinery when needed, as directed.
- Perform other construction labourer duties, as directed.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education
- Completion of secondary school.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Construction Labourer, Carpenter Helper, or similar.
Language
- English language ability.
Skills
- Physically demanding position requiring the ability to lift loads up to 50lbs and various levels of manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to learn, meet tight deadlines, and follow instructions.
- Ability to use various hand tools.
- Capable of working independantly and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Prestige Homes has been manufacturing beautiful and functional modular homes since 1973, from our manufacturing facility located in Sussex, New Brunswick. This is where our skilled employees precision-engineer modules (sections) of homes to be delivered to the home site, where they are then fitted together and roofing, siding, drywall and flooring are installed.

Wage
- $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
