WorkSafeNB is seeking to fill a permanent position of Product Owner. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Solutions, the Product Owner (PO) is the?single point of accountability for the value, direction, and outcomes of assigned digital products?within the IT Division.?The Product Owner has?deep?knowledge of the software products assigned to them.
This position is responsible for identifying impacts of new?software?product?releases, making recommendations on new functionality that may provide business value?to end users, providing support to promote strong adoption of the product, leading and prioritizing the product backlog with stakeholders and creating user stories for implementation while ensuring product direction is aligned with organizational goals and strategies.?
Salary and Hours of Work:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, such as a 2-year college diploma in a relevant field plus an additional 2 years' experience.
Competencies:
Written and spoken competence in English is required.

Assessments are affected by the level of activities in the province's workplaces, as are the resulting claims. There are also substantial assets that ensure WorkSafeNB will be able to provide the ongoing benefits promised to injured workers through a wage loss recovery insurance system. These funds are invested in the financial markets and investment returns are subject to the ups and downs of the marketplace.
