Storekeeper
(1 position, Category B salary)

Requirements:

• Hold a valid driver’s license and passport;
• Have the physical ability to manually transport and handle loads;
• Be proficient in French and English (written and spoken);
• Be able to use a computer and software applications;
• Be able to use a measuring tape;
• Be able to read;
• Good manual dexterity;
• Ability to learn and work as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Handle all aspects of receiving merchandise, such as:

• Load/unload merchandise and go to the plant or outside as needed for large materials;
• Inspect quantities received against the delivery slip;
• Inspect the condition in which merchandise is delivered;
• Stock the storeroom;
• Distribute merchandise to various production departments;
• Follow up on non-conforming merchandise.

1. Handle all aspects of shipping merchandise, such as:

• Ship packaged merchandise (raw materials or others) to other plants and/or sites;
• Ensure that relevant documentation is attached to merchandise to guarantee on-time delivery and/or attach missing documentation when required.

1. Complete required checklists (e.g., truck inspection, etc.).
2. Conduct weekly, monthly, and/or other scheduled inventory counts;

• Perform inventory control using computer software.

1. Run errands at local businesses and in the United States.
2. Ensure merchandise is properly stored on shelves and maintain the storeroom area.
3. Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor.
